In a brand-new subdivision your fences aren't up yet and your neighbors are half-built, so cameras are the only thing watching the property line for the first year or two. I wire homes while they're still going up whenever I can, before the drywall closes.
On the steep lots up around SunCrest and Steep Mountain, I'll usually add a camera covering the uphill retaining wall and the downhill garage approach, because those two spots are where a standard front-door install leaves you completely blind.

Do I really pay nothing monthly?
Correct. Every system I install records to a local NVR that you own outright, so there's no subscription. You pay once for the equipment and my labor, and that's it. The only thing that ever costs money later is if you want me to come back and add cameras or bump up your hard drive for more recording days.
How many cameras does a typical Draper home need?
Most Draper homes I do land between 6 and 10 cameras. A flat lot in a newer subdivision off Bangerter might be fine at 6 (front, both sides, back, garage, driveway). A hillside home in SunCrest with a long driveway and a walkout basement usually needs 8 to 10 to cover the grade changes and the lower entrances that a front-facing setup misses.
Can you install if my house is a new build that's still under construction?
Yes, and that's the best time to call me. If you loop me in before the drywall goes up, I run all the camera cable in the walls for a clean, hidden install with no exterior conduit. A lot of the new construction off Traverse Mountain and Suncrest is perfect for this. If the house is already finished, I can still do it, it just takes more careful routing through the attic and soffits.
