For builders & contractors
A low-voltage sub who hits your timeline.
No surprises. No rework. No chasing subs. I handle all the low-voltage on your builds across Utah County and the Silicon Slopes corridor — and I show up when the schedule says so.
You already know the low-voltage sub can make or break the schedule — miss the pre-drywall window and it pushes drywall, paint, cabinets, and the closing date, and your reputation rides on it. I run my end like a project-management partner, not a vendor you have to babysit.
What you get
A trade partner, not a headache
One accountable sub
A single point of contact who owns scheduling, coordination, documentation, and punch-list. One number to call, one company responsible for all low-voltage.
Plan-set takeoffs
Send me your drawings and I take off drops, device locations, and pathways — then bid it clean, broken into materials, labor, and scope.
Per-plan & volume pricing
Fixed per-plan pricing for each floor plan and volume pricing across a community. Predictable numbers you can drop into your budgets.
I hit the window
Low-voltage rough-in done after electrical, before insulation — so I never push drywall, paint, cabinets, or your closing date.
I coordinate with your EC
I walk the plan with your electrician, respect trade boundaries and mud-ring placement, and flag conflicts on paper before they become change orders.
Vetting-ready
Licensed and insured with GL + workers' comp. COI, W-9, and builder references on request so your estimating team can add me with zero friction.
Where I fit
Right in the critical path — on time
- 1 Electrical rough-in
- 2 Low-voltage rough-in — me
- 3 Drywall
- 4 Trim-out
- 5 Test & handoff
Production builders
Repeatable per-plan packages, plan-set takeoffs, and volume pricing across the community. I standardize the low-voltage so it's the same predictable number and the same clean rough-in on every lot.
Custom & luxury builders
Early design collaboration on layout, component placement, and future-proofing, so the infrastructure is built in during rough-in instead of retrofitted later — and your buyer gets a home that's genuinely ready.
Good to know
Builder questions, answered
What your estimating team usually wants to know. Need a takeoff or a COI? Just ask.
Do you coordinate with our electrician and other trades?
Yes. I walk the plan with your electrician to align rough-in, respect trade boundaries and box/mud-ring placement, plan neutral wires and conduit pathways before framing closes, and flag conflicts on paper during design so they don't become change orders at rough-in.
Can you price per plan for our production communities?
Yes. Send me your plan set and I'll produce a takeoff and a fixed per-plan price for each floor plan, with volume pricing across the community — predictable, repeatable low-voltage numbers you can drop straight into your budgets and options sheets.
Are you licensed and insured to work on our jobsites?
Yes. I carry the required low-voltage licensing plus general liability and workers' comp, and I provide a current certificate of insurance, W-9, and references on request so your estimating team can add me to your approved trade-partner list with no friction.
Who is our single point of contact on a job?
Me. One dedicated point of contact who owns scheduling, on-site coordination, documentation, and punch-list — one number to call and one company responsible for the low-voltage scope from pre-wire through trim-out and testing.
Do you do plan-set takeoffs from our drawings?
Yes. I take off directly from your plan set to quantify drops, device locations, and pathways, then return a clear bid broken into materials, labor, and scope so you can see exactly what's included and compare apples to apples.
Can you handle both production and custom homes?
Yes. For production builds I standardize a repeatable per-plan package and hit volume schedules; for custom and luxury homes I collaborate early on design, layout, and component placement so the infrastructure is built in during rough-in rather than retrofitted later.
Why should our low-voltage go in before drywall?
Running structured wiring during rough-in costs a fraction of a post-drywall retrofit, avoids opening finished walls, and lets the home ship move-in ready. Integrated smart-home wiring also helps homes sell faster and command a premium — which protects your margins and your buyers' experience.
How do we get you on our bid list?
Send me your plans or a request to bid and I'll return a takeoff-based quote, my COI and license, and references from other builders I partner with. Text or call 801-735-8056 to start.
